By using this app Player Proximity Systems is able to track you in real time when on the golf course.
This will allow us to pause and resume active sprinklers while you are near.
It also enables the pro-shop to identify slow play before it creates problems, better manage course assets like the drinks cart ensuring they don't waste time in area of the course where the players aren't.
The basic app is designed to not distract you from your game so it only displays your position.
Additional versions are being developed to provide a much richer golfing experience, so check the website for updates.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
